OISTRAKH ULTIMATE REFERENCE
The final version of Oistrakh that represented Neovox
Silver-plated copper wires (6N)
Oistrakh Ultimate Reference is the final version of Oistrakh that represented Neovox until Celibidache was launched. Thus, it adopts silver-plated copper wires.
However, the purity of copper wires has been improved to 6N class, which is the same level of Celibidache. In addition, the thickness of the silver plating has been further increased from that of the Tartini cable which is the highest line-up of Neovox.
Silver is compressed to penetrate finely into 6N high purity copper and the surface is polished carefully. As a result, the conductivity of the conductor surface through has been improved to the maximum, so that it can derive extremely detailed high frequencies, and express the sonic nuance of both, copper and silver at mid frequencies.

FEP air insulation
The most ideal material for attenuating the dielectric constant through insulation is air. If the dielectric constant of air is 1, the dielectric constants of Teflon and polyethylene are 2.1 and 2.3, respectively.
Oistrakh Ultimate Reference uses air and Teflon, which are the most ideal dielectric materials. The method is to use a unique Teflon binding technique and adjust the compression ratio between cable conductor and Teflon.
This method was first attempted for Celibidache and achieved excellent insulation effect after being upgraded through research and experimentation. The highest level of insulation has been implemented while forming a fine air layer through this insulation technique.
Geometry and connector
Moving one step ahead from Celibidache, a large amount of silver is applied to coat over 6N high purity copper conductors.
Oistrakh Ultimate Reference boasts the highest possible purity, almost perfect insulation, and the most appropriate number of conductors. Despite enormous costs, only selected cables through sample tests are used.
Moreover, connectors are specially designed in accordance with the conductor characteristics of Oistrakh Ultimate Reference that boast excellent binding force and signal transmission characteristics,
Vibration Control
As the final version of the Oistrakh model, more detailed techniques have been applied to Oistrakh Ultimate Reference.
Cables work very sensitively in high-end audio systems. Signals flowing through the cables generate fine vibrations, which affect sound. Hence, many damping accessories have been released on the market, but we have created a design to control vibration at the cable itself.
The newly designed splitter and damper protect signals from the physical noise induced by internal and external vibrations of the cable. You do not have to waste money on expensive cable damping accessories any more.

OISTRAKH ULTIMATE REFERENCE
Interconnects (XLR, RCA)
Our interconnect is composed of two 18 AWG cables with 19 strands and two 20 AWG cables with 26 strands. These four cables are used separately for positive and negative poles and grounding.
For conductors, 6N high purity copper is used for center conductor. 4N silver is plated thickly as surface conductor, compressed to penetrate finely into the center conductor, and is insulated with FEP and air. In addition, tin-plated 70% braided shielding is applied and silicon jacket and polyethylene expander are used, which are flexible and convenient for setting.
Furthermore, dedicated connectors have been produced and adopted for the Ultimate Reference version to preserve the purity of sound and provide excellent binding force and sense of grip.
Speaker Cables
Our speaker cable is composed of 10 cables with 19 strands and 10 cables with 26 strands. They are arranged to the two poles and terminated. The cable that passes low frequency sound has a thickness of 18 AWG and the cable that passes high frequency sound has a thickness of 20 AWG.
In addition, 4N silver is plated thickly over 6N high purity copper and compressed to penetrate finely. After the cables are twisted to the specified angle, they are bound by the Mylar material. In addition, tin-plated 70% braided shielding is applied, and silicon jacket and polyethylene expander are used, which are flexible and convenient for setting.
The plugs are two types: one is Rhodium-plated spade and the other is banana. Banana plug is specially designed with spring inside. Thus, it has excellent tightening elasticity when the cable is inserted into the terminal and the contact area is even larger than locking banana plugs. In addition to splitter, a specially designed damper is applied to Ultimate Reference to remove vibration and noise.
Power Cords
Our power cord uses 6N high purity copper conductors with thickly plated and finely penetrated 4N silver, Each 10 AWG cable is composed of 44 strands of 0.4mm conductors and used for positive and negative poles and grounding. The highest level of insulation efficiency has been achieved through FEP and air insulation.
Tin-plated 70% braided shielding is applied, and silicon jacket and polyethylene expander are used, which are flexible and convenient for setting. Specially designed plugs for Ultimate Reference have been produced and applied. As power cables are most sensitive to vibration, a specially designed damper is adopted to remove vibration and noise.
Digital Cables
Unlike other general cables, digital cables are highly sensitive to impedance and shielding. Therefore, special structures are required for conductors and geometry. For the coaxial cable of the Oistrakh Ultimate Reference line-up, 4N silver is thickly plated over 6N high purity copper, but is insulated with PTFE and air, and optimized at 75 ohm impedance. Three 19-strand cables are twisted and the shielding rate has been optimized to 99.8% by braided shielding with two layers of silver plated pure copper.
